K-Fastigheter construction
When it comes to construction, at K-Fastigheter we focus on increasing cost-effectiveness, shortening our construction times and guaranteeing long-term quality and sustainability. We have therefore chosen to work with our three proprietary concept buildings: Low-rise, Lateral Low-rise and Apartment Block buildings, developed for our own management.
Constructing the same type of building many times makes us more efficient for each construction process, in procedures as well as logistics and use of material. Having our own production facilities enables us to guarantee expertise, purchasing and delivery scheduling. Our personnel also work on construction sites on assembly of our own manufactured products, which creates understanding and commitment to quality and efficiency.
To guarantee high quality and obtain better cost control over the construction process, we have established our own production of items including curtain walls, balconies and concrete stairs. The business has well-established contacts with a number of suppliers that are able to deliver the products that tenants demand and that conform to K-Fastigheter’s quality standards. Joint construction requirements within the EU mean that supplies can be purchased from more than one supplier. The company endeavours to have at least ten options available for each product category.
Our aim is to get a little better at all aspects of each individual project. To ensure that everything we learn during the project period will not be lost, but will be of practical use in the future, we work strategically to provide constant feedback to our Project Development and Management departments.
